Sophia and I had a lovely weekend at the craft fair in Ardingly where the sun was shining, music was playing, circus characters entertained, birds of prey were shown, and lots of four legged furry friends had a lot of fun at the dog show.
We were pleased to see that Sophia’s newly handsewn zipper purses went down well along with our ever popular spell kits. The children were fascinated with our treasure bottles of crystals and charms, and our popular crystal jewellery was as favoured as ever!
It was also great to meet the other stall holders- we had a lot in common with the Harmonite stall whose use of nature in her craft was incredible. She crafted some unusual pendants with acorns and fresh leaves she harvested to insert into a resin bauble. Harmonite can be found on Amazon and Facebook.
Meeting Julie from Evoke Glass was a joy as we had a great laugh with her- she makes the most inspiring stained-glass pieces set in wood and reclaimed items. You can find her work on Instagram @EvokeGlassArt23jtk
We met a new stall holder, Maria from Loveart.pressies whose range of stock was as interesting as her story in how she got to be at the event. Her work can be found on Etsy and Instagram @Love.ArtPressies
As usual it is the community spirit of all the stall holders that keep these events alive, bubbly and fun to do .
We are now concentrating on creating some further stock for the next few events we have lined up and are excited to see how these will be received in the coming months. Watch this space!!
Best wishes
Anji xx
