Welcome  to  AyamiiCo

AyamiiCo was launched by Sophia and Anji in 2021. We are sisters drawing inspiration from our local countryside of Kent and Sussex. We love to design, create, and produce unique products in line with the natural cycles and flow of life.

The name Ayamiico was inspired by European folklore where the “ayami” is the natural spiritual helper and healer. Keeping in line with our philosophy of working at one with nature, and being inspired by the beautiful landscape surrounding us, where we can we try to incorporate the abundance of nature into our creations.

“Many of my designs and creations are inspired by my love of nature” says Sophia. “I also love to use and rework the fabrics and sari’s our mother left us. She too was such a creative and inspiring artist that when I use these fabrics, I feel a real connection to her. I love to make each piece in my home overlooking the Ashdown Forest.”

 

  “We are both interested in exploring the spiritual and mystical side of life" explains Anji.  "We have created handmade products with this in mind and our craft evolves and changes with the seasons".

 

Anji and Sophia are both really interested in the properties of crystals and have increased their product range to include a wide variety of these. They do their best to ensure the crystals are ethically sourced and are happy to seek out specific crystals if requested.
